The main emphasis in the museum is on human rather
than natural history, since other organisations are better placed
to specialise in this area. However, we do hold a small collection
of geological specimens from County Down, a Victorian egg collection
and a few mounted bird and animal specimens, some by the famous
firm of Sheals of Belfast.
