Medieval Collection

Recent excavations in County Down have provided objects for exhibition for the Early Christian and medieval periods. The Vikings are still a bit of an enigma. We know they raided around the coast and Strangford Lough but they left very little material behind. However, the National Museum of Ireland has lent some typical Viking artefacts to us for display.
